The triaction by Triumph Women's Triathlon will again take place at Pilot Bay, Mount Maunganui. All across the region and beyond, women are busy swimming, cycling and running to ensure they are in great shape for the start on the Monday of Auckland Anniversary Weekend. Life Pharmacy Bayfair Triathlon
The Life Pharmacy Bayfair Triathlon is to be held on Sunday 21 March 2010. The event is a sprint distance triathlon; Swim 750M, Bike 20KM, Run 5.5KM. The minimum age is thirteen on Race Day. The triathlon also has a very successful teams component: two or three friends, work mates or family members can each complete one or two of the legs of the triathlon. Last year’s event had around 100 team entries, with several employers entering more than one team. Major spot prizes include $1,000 cash, Orca Sonar Wetsuits and an Avanti Road Bike. The first man and woman will receive a $500 cash. First teams (male, female & mixed) will receive a $250 cash.
